Notification Settings

You can send different notifications to the club members on varying topics. The Notification Settings page allows you to control the type of notifications you can send to the members as well as the topics.

The different notifications include –

Emaillets you send an email-notification to the club member.
SMSlets you send an SMS notification to the club member’s registered phone number.
Pushlets you send an app notification to the club member’s phone. It applies only if the member has the app installed on their phones.

The Notification Settings page can be accessed from the Members > Actions > Notification Settings.

Edit a Member’s Notification Individually

You’ll get a number of notification topics in the Notification Settings page – guest invitation, payment change notice, new announcement, reservation reminder, organization join invitation, etc.

You can change these notifications (turn on/off) individually.

To change individual notification for the member, navigate through Organizations > Members > Actions > Notification Settings:

  1. Browse through the notification topics in the Notification column. (By default, all the notifications will be turned on.)
  2. Tap on the notification radio button (slider button) you want to change (turn on/off) in the Email, SMS, Push, columns. Each of these columns can be targeted individually.
  3. Click on the Save button once the notification is turned off/on for the requested medium. On successfully update, you’ll get a success message on the screen. The new changes will be reflected in the Notification Settings page.

Bulk Edit a Member’s Notification Settings

You can bulk edit (turn on/off) a member’s notifications for their Email, SMS or Push notifications.

Bulk editing notification is best when a member doesn’t want notifications in a specific medium or they haven’t subscribed to it.

To bulk edit notification settings for the member, navigate through Organizations > Members > Actions > Notification Settings:

  1. Browse through the notification mediums – Email, SMS, Push – and click on the icon located on the top of the individual columns to edit them -- ✘ = Turn Off, ✔= Turn On.

  2. If you clicked , it’ll turn off the entire notifications for that notification medium and all the radio buttons will be off (which you can then turn on individual notification topics of that medium if required.) Similarly, if you clicked , it’ll turn on the entire notifications for that medium for the member.

  3. Click on the Save button once the bulk notifications are turned off/on for the requested medium. On successfully update, you’ll get a success message on the screen. The new changes will be reflected in the Notification Settings page.
