Locations
1.1.3. Locations
Path: Organizations>Edit Organization>Logo and Files
A facility can have multiple locations. For example, if the user's club plays at five different locations/facilities, he would list all five here. The public website would then show all the parks where his club plays. Each club must have one primary location, representing the main place where the club usually meets.
Following are the steps to add a new location:
- Click the “Add New Location” button to proceed. This action will redirect the user to a new window or form where they must provide the necessary details.
1. Primary Radio Button:
Under “Active” locations, the user needs to specify if a location is the primary one by clicking on the radio button. Each club must have one primary location, which is the main place where the club usually meets.
This primary location is mandatory, and only one location can be designated as the primary location if multiple locations are added.
The user then needs to specify their facility's address by mentioning the name of the venue and an alternative name if applicable.
2. Full Address:
The full address, including the street and postal code, must also be provided along with the country and state.
3. Surface Area Type:
The user should specify the type of surface of their court (e.g., Hardwood, Asphalt, Concrete, Synthetic) to give clarity on what the participants might be interested in playing on.
4. Play Area Type:
The user has to specify whether the facility has indoor, outdoor, or both types of courts:
- If indoors, it should be stated whether the courts have air-conditioning.
- If outdoor, it should be noted if there are coverings or shading facilities.
5. Net Type:
The type of nets used at the facility must be mentioned, indicating if they are portable, permanent, or both.
6. Number of Courts:
The user should specify how many courts are available at the facility.
7. Ball Used:
The user can also specify the type of ball used at the facility.
8. Ball URL:
The User must provide the ball URL, which includes details and pictures of the ball used.
9. Parking Fee (Radio Button):
Under this radio button, the User can have access to charge the parking fee in his facility/venue.
He can also mention a few descriptive points with it under the “Parking Info” Option.
